Join our team as a: Senior Accountant (Bilingual - Axos)

What are we looking for?

• Languages: Advanced English (bilingual), capable of presenting reports to executive management and auditors.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Experience: 5-6+ years of experience in accounting roles.
• Technical Skills: Extensive experience with Spreadsheet Software (macros, complex functions) and functional knowledge of operational accounting systems.
• Specialized Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP and compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).

What do we expect from you?

• Financial Integrity: Maintain records of the organization's financial activity and perform reconciliations for third-party transactions.
• Reporting & Analysis: Create and present financial performance reports for internal, external, and SEC reporting.
• Closing Activities: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including foreign exchange and tax.
• Leadership: Lead cross-functional meetings, lead projects, and provide training/coaching to peers and staff members.
• Technical Research: Research technical accounting issues and propose alternatives to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Extensive experience in Solution Architecture, including Design Patterns, Best Practices, and Standards. (8-10 years of exp)
• Integration Expertise: Proven expertise in APIs, microservices, and middleware.
• Data Architecture: Strong knowledge of data modeling, data pipelines, MDM, and real-time data processing.
• Cloud Proficiency: Deep experience with cloud platforms and hybrid environments.
• Modernization: Background in migrating or refactoring legacy systems and managing technical debt.
• Leadership: Excellent people management skills and a hands-on approach to leading organization-level change.
